ONHF is working currently on creating a training program in association with the Lao Association of the Blind (LAB) and the Massage Association of the Blind in Savannakhet. LAB and the Massage Association opened their first training centre in 2003, to teach blind people to massage using a set routine, giving them and their families financial freedom, while they provided their healing massage services to the community. Now there are around 25 massage clinics in the capital city, Vientiane, operated by LAB and its trained Visually Impaired therapists.
We would like to complement and expand the brilliant work being carried by LAB and the Massage Association of the Blind by adding training in ES Therapy, the Oasis Natural Health Foundation’s unique healing methods, to the training already being provided to the Visually Impaired massage students in Laos.
