Blind Walk for the Bangladesh Children – Day 2

8:45 am –  I’ve walked about 9km this morning (I’m currently at Marsden). It’s interesting how the Universe directed me down Kingston Rd towards Beenleigh. There’s footpaths the whole way and it’s safer from the traffic. Thank you Beverley Joy Hermann for the muffin. I saved it for this morning…very yummy. Now to find a coffee shop.

10:33 am – Waterford Shops – Breakfast with coffee….aaahhhhhh….at last!! I found a park behind the shops to rest and rejuvenate. Heard a monster truck as I was walking, sounded like an aeroplane!

11:07 pm – Bethania – I met some delightful characters (swans) at the Tygum Lagoon where I rested today. Finished up at Beenleigh Station, clocking up another 21km. Tomorrow I’m heading to Ormeau, via the Yatala Pie Shop for breakfast. I’m putting in an order for a cooler day. Today was way too hot!

Don’t forget to support my cause!! https://chuffed.org/project/blind-walk-for-the-children-in-bangladesh
